Mary & Matt's wedding was just beautiful! The girls arrived at Mary's parents home after getting all dolled up at Salon Uruku. Mary's dress from I Do Bridal was gorgeous! Her light gold shoes added the perfect touch! Their wedding colors of onyx and pearl looked amazing! Matt and the rest of the guys got ready at The Inn at Tallgrass before heading to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament for the wedding.
Mary & Matt decided to do a First Look. If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple without the stress of 150 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.
After doing some fun photos of just the bride & groom followed by the family formals, it was time for the ceremony! Mary & Matt had a full mass ceremony that was just beautiful! They were sent off with bubbles and well wishes before heading to Tallgrass Country Club for their reception. The amazing limo was provided by All Class Limo.
We arrived and started off with some fun photos of the wedding party and just the couple on the golf course! The weather held out perfectly for us and the overcast clouds were amazing for getting those shots with the bright green course!
The wedding party were announced into the reception room that was filled with their family and friends. Their amazing cake from Artistic Cakes was the first stop for the newly married couple! The couple started off a delicious dinner provided by Tallgrass Country Club.
The father of the bride, the father of the groom as well as the best man and maid of honor said a few heartfelt toasts before the couple shared their first dance as husband and wife. The father/daughter and mother/son dance followed. The beautiful bridal bouquet by Susan's Floral was tossed along with the garter.
The wedding party and guests danced the night away with music provided by EQ Sounds.
Congrats you two! Thank you for allowing me to share in your amazing day!

Little Miss Sophia & her brother Nicholas
Miss Sophia and Nicholas came for a visit last week for some portraits. They live in Miami FL and are here visiting their grandparents. Sophia is just a doll!! She has the most beautiful blue eyes! Nicholas was not into being in front of the camera (as most guys are not) but he was a trooper! I can't help but thing he looks like the guy from Twilight! Im sure he has heard that before though!
Thanks for the visit!

Leah & Cody {5.14.11}
Leah and Cody are married! I was so pleased to be able to spend their beautiful day with them! Everything was just perfect! They are such a fun, sweet and loving couple!
We started out at Northside Chruch of Christ which also was the ceremony venue. The girls were busy getting ready with hair and makeup. Leah had a gorgeous satin dress from The White Dress here in Wichita. Her shoes were amazing too! Her mom, 7 bridesmaids and 2 jr bridesmaids helped her get into her dress and she looked amazing!
They guys were just down the hall getting ready themselves. The handsome tuxes from Tuxedo Junction all looked great! Cody spent a little extra time making sure he looked perfect for his beautiful bride to be. He had a surprise in store for the ceremony as well!
The amazing flowers from The Flower Factory smelled the room and were so beautiful!
Once the ceremony started, you could just feel the love in the air! There were smiles and laughs throughout the entire church! The couple did a unity cross during the ceremony which will be a beautiful piece to display in their home. Cody shared his awesome voice during the ceremony with a song to his new wife! It gave me chills, it was so beautiful! After the vows and exchange of rings, the couple sealed the deal with a kiss ... but first, a couple of Cody's groomsmen helped him with a spritz of breath freshener and a straightening of the tie!
We took some time for just the Bride & Groom to go to the Keeper of the Plains area and do a few special photos before heading to the reception. They are adorable! They are so easy to photograph and just look amazing!
We met up with the wedding party at Wichita Botanica Gardens, which was also the reception venue. We did a few fun wedding party shots and a few more of just the newlyweds before heading into the reception.
The wedding party along with the Bride & Groom were announced and started the dinner. The amazing food by Ray's Country Side Catering was ready to go and sooo yummy! There were a few heartfelt toasts by a few of the wedding party members before the cake cutting. The amazing cake from WOW Cakes was gorgeous! The bar was provided by Xclusive Bartending.
Scott from Accent Mobile DJ started the dancing with the Bride & Groom's first dance followed by the Father/daughter and Mother/son dances. The bouquet and garter toss was next followed by a dollar dance. The happy couple and their guests danced the night away!
Congrats you two! Thank you for allowing me to share in your day!

Melissa & Loren {engagement}
Last week was such a beautiful time for Melissa & Loren's Engagment session! We started out at the location of their first date .. Wichita's Starlite drive-in theater!! It was early so we had the entire location to ourselves to roam about!
We then headed downtown to do some more fun shots! They were so fun and up for whatever! We made it fairly quick since the heat was sneaking up on us fast but we were able to find some shaded areas and get some amazing shots!
Melissa & Loren are planning a beautiful August wedding! I can't wait!!

Danielle & Kiel {engagement}
This past weekend I was so excited to meet up with Danielle & Kiel for their engagement session! Like most of my couples, they were quite nervous at first but quickly warmed up to the camera and did an amazing job! The are so fun and so much in love!! It was extremely hot outside so we decided to go play in the water towards the end of the session. WOW is the only word that comes to mind when I look back at their images!! They are hot!!! We had so much fun just playing! I can't wait for their beautiful wedding in October!!

Angela & Michael {05.07.11}
Last weekend was beautiful for Angela & Michael's wedding! We started off meeting the girls at The Salon at Happiness Plaza for the finishing touches of hair and makeup. The girls got ready at the Bride's mother's house and the guys got ready at Michael's apartment. Laughter and smiles filled the rooms!
Angela and Michael decided to do a First Look. If you have never heard of this, its simple. Their wedding colors were a beautiful mixture of black and purple. The amazing ceremony and reception were held at the Abode Venue here in Wichita. Angela's bouquet of purple Calla Lillis were provided by Beards Floral Design. The couple had a unique "guest book". The guests were asked to sign the back of a custom soccer jersey with the newlywed's last name. The Groom's family provided all the delicious food for the reception and a friend of the family made the awesome cake! What a talented group!
The reception included a few very heartfelt toasts along with the Bride and Groom's first dance. The Bride's brother joined the Bride for a dance and the Groom's mother joined the Groom for a dance. The couple cut into their cake and tossed the bouquet and garter then danced the night away with their guests! It was an amazing day!

Abby & Tyler {4.23.11}
Last weekend I was so lucky to attend the beautiful wedding of Abby & Tyler! The day was perfect! Their wedding colors were a modern mix of yellow, silver and black. The weather held out for us and the chance of thunderstorms gently turned into sunshine!
I met up with the girls at Fringe Salon where they were getting all dolled up! We then went on to the ceremony and reception venue. All of the events for the day took place at Abode Venue. Abby and her family, including Tyler's aunt Lisa made sure everything looked perfect! Abby made most of the decor herself! Abby's bouquet along with the bridesmaids bouquets were provided by Dillons Floral.

The ceremony was beautiful! After the ceremony, all we had to do was grab a few quick wedding party images and head to the reception! In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Abby and Tyler did an amazing cupcake stand! The cupcakes were provided by Sweet Treats by Jodie. I personally tried the red velvet and it was amazing!! Once the wedding party was announced, they started the dinner line. Blue Moon Catering provided the food.
The best man and maid of honor made a heartfelt toast during dinner. After dinner, Abby and Tyler got to play The Newlywed Game with the help of Bill from Accent Mobile. It was so much fun seeing their answers! The new Husband and Wife shared their first dance together and the party continued throughout the evening!

An amazing limo from All World Entertainment took the newly married couple as well as their wedding party to their reception which was held at Boulevard Banquet Hall here in Wichita.
