Melissa & Loren {married 08.06.11}

Melissa & Loren are married! What a beautiful day it was! We started off at Hillside Christian Church which was the location of their amazing ceremony.

Melissa's gown from I Do Bridal was just gorgeous! Of course, she had amazing shoes too and I am a sucker for amazing shoes!! Their colors were Tiffany blue, black & white. I love this color combo! It just oozes romantic!

The guys tuxes were from Men's Warehouse. They were looking sharp! The amazing flowers were provided by a family friend. They were beautiful!!

We stepped out before the ceremony to do some fun shots with the girls while the guys were in their dressing room. They all looked amazing! Next, it was the guys turn! They all went back into their dressing rooms to do a little last minute touch up before the wedding. We snagged the rings for a few fun shots too! The rings are very special to Melissa & Loren because they were made from a grandparent's ring. It's always nice to see so much thought go into something so special!

The ceremony was beautiful! The bride and groom assembled a unity cross and shared in a holy communion before they were announced as husband and wife!

We had time for all the family formals before heading to Mid-America All Indian Center for the reception. We stopped outside for a few fun wedding party photos and some lovely photos of the new Mr. & Mrs. before they were announced to their guests.

The DJ, which was also a family friend announced the entire wedding party as well as the bride & groom into their reception! The awesome cake, which was made by the bride's mother, was beautiful! The groom's mother made the KU inspired groom's cake! They are so lucky to have such talented people!

After the wedding party enjoyed their dinner provided by Hog Wild BBQ, they listened while the best man and maid of honor said their heartfelt toasts. The bride and groom then shared in their first dance as husband and wife followed by the father/daughter and mother/son dance. It's always so sweet to watch the love fill the room during these dances!

The bouquet and garter toss was next followed by the dollar dance! All the guests were then invited to join the couple on the dance floor and everyone was having a blast!

We ended the evening with a few more night shots of just the bride and groom. I have to say this was one of the smoothest weddings I have ever shot! Everything was actually ahead of schedule, everyone was in great spirits and it made for an amazing day! Congrats you two!!

Special thanks to Jessica Noelle Rozof for an amazing job as my second photographer and assistant for the day!

Amber & Tommy {married 07.15.11}

I was so happy to share in Amber & Tommy's wedding day! We started off at Lux Nail Studio where the girls were getting pampered! The groom was busy getting ready at his parents house with his adorable daughter.

Amber headed back to her house to get ready with help from her mom. Her dress from David's Bridal was just perfect for an outdoor summer wedding!

Amber & Tommy decided to do a First Look. If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple without the stress of 100 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.

After the First Look, it was time for the ceremony! Amber had her beautiful bouquet from Susan's Floral. The joy of the day filled the air!

We had some time to do some more amazing photos of just the Bride and Groom before starting the reception. Amber and Tommy then cut their awesome cake and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife followed by the father/daughter and mother/son dance. Tommy also had a quick dance with his daughter. The bouquet and garter was tossed before making their getaway!

We spent a little time in Old Town playing in the fountains before the newlyweds called it a night. It was an amazing day for an amazing couple! Congrats Tommy & Amber!
