Brides, brides, everywhere brides!

Last weekend was the 2010 Wedding Ideas Bridal Expo held at the Hyatt in downtown Wichita. There were so many wonderful brides!!! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat! Here are some images from the show!

Gorgeous meetup models!

This past weekend at the annual photographer's meetup we had some of the most beautiful models! They were so nice to volunteer to do this for us and even toughed it out through the rain and cool wind!
Here are some of my fav's from the weekend!
This first gal is my lovely second shooter, assistant, and best friend!! She is always up for posing for me and we have been working together for so long that it just comes natural! Isn't she purdy?!? :)

We were getting a little silly by this point but it was fun!

Photographer's meetup weekend!

This past weekend was the annual photographer's meetup weekend hosted by Millers Professional Imaging! These meetups are so much fun! This year's meetup was located in Pittsburg, KS, the home of the Millers lab. We had about 180 photographers registered to attend in addition to the models and guests!! I learn so much each year and have made some friends for life at these meetups! I already can't wait for next years!!!!

We started off the meetup by taking a tour of the Millers Lab.

They had goodie bags ready for everyone at registration filled with coupons, special offers, books and much more!

Although we trade ideas and give critiques all the time through the online forum, most of us never really get to see each other in person. When we finally do ...... this is what we look like ................

The meetup theme this year was Mardi Gras. My good friend Siri brought some masks so we were all decked out!

There is always tons of hands on training ... even in the rain!

Some of the local instructors were generous enough to open their studio up to this crazy bunch!
