Abby & Tyler {4.23.11}

Last weekend I was so lucky to attend the beautiful wedding of Abby & Tyler! The day was perfect! Their wedding colors were a modern mix of yellow, silver and black. The weather held out for us and the chance of thunderstorms gently turned into sunshine!

I met up with the girls at Fringe Salon where they were getting all dolled up! We then went on to the ceremony and reception venue. All of the events for the day took place at Abode Venue. Abby and her family, including Tyler's aunt Lisa made sure everything looked perfect! Abby made most of the decor herself! Abby's bouquet along with the bridesmaids bouquets were provided by Dillons Floral.

Abby and Tyler decided to do a First Look. If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple without the stress of 200 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.

The ceremony was beautiful! After the ceremony, all we had to do was grab a few quick wedding party images and head to the reception! In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Abby and Tyler did an amazing cupcake stand! The cupcakes were provided by Sweet Treats by Jodie. I personally tried the red velvet and it was amazing!! Once the wedding party was announced, they started the dinner line. Blue Moon Catering provided the food.

The best man and maid of honor made a heartfelt toast during dinner. After dinner, Abby and Tyler got to play The Newlywed Game with the help of Bill from Accent Mobile. It was so much fun seeing their answers! The new Husband and Wife shared their first dance together and the party continued throughout the evening!

Congrats you two!! Here are some of my fav's from their wedding! You can view their full gallery HERE.

Shannon & Brock {4.16-11}

Shannon and Brock's wedding was beautiful! The wedding ceremony took place at Dawson UMC here in Wichita. Their colors were Rose Petal Pink, Black and White. Everything looked amazing! The flowers from The Flower Factory which included simple calla-lilies were beautiful!

An amazing limo from All World Entertainment took the newly married couple as well as their wedding party to their reception which was held at Boulevard Banquet Hall here in Wichita. Sarah from Wichita Event Planner did an amazing job at decorating the venue with the help of Classically Covered and Potent Entertainment!

The couple shared in their first cut into their beautiful wedding cake provided by Simply Sweets followed by a heartfelt toast from the FOB (father of the bride)! Dinner was provided by Hog Wild BBQ. The entire event was documented by Alexander Video Productions. Guests enjoyed a tasty treat from The Chocolate Fountain during the reception.

The couple shared in their first dance as Husband and Wife with a super fun choreographed dance! The mother/son and father/daughter dance followed. All World Entertainment played music and the guests danced the night away!

Congrats you two! Here are a few of my fav's from their day! You can view their full gallery HERE.

Stephanie & Matt {engagement}

Last week I got to spend a little time with Stephanie & Matt for their Engagement Session. They are so much fun, so sweet and so in love!! It was the most perfect day outside so we walked around downtown for just the right locations! Their cutie dog Toby joined in for a few shots as well! (with a little bribery with some doggie treats!) We also went over to the Keeper of the Plains area for a few shots. That is where Stephanie and Matt shared their first date! Matt proposed this past February at Disney World! They are planning a beautiful September wedding! I can't wait to share in their special day! Congrat's you too!

Here are a few of my fav's from their session! You can view their full gallery HERE.

Mr Grayson! {babies session}

I was so excited to go see Mr Grayson last week! He was born on April 13th. He arrived a little early but is as healthy and adorable as he could be! The proud parents are adapting nicely! Crystal looks amazing after just having a baby! They are both amazing parents already! Congrat's on the handsome little man!

Lacy, Ryan & Kenadi {Family}

I got another amazing visit from Lacy, Ryan and Miss Kenadi this week! Kenadi was all smiles this time! She is a doll!!! Lacy owns The Cutting Edge Salon here in Cheney so naturally, Kenadi was all dolled up with her flower hairpiece and cute earrings! That is one busy girl!! I just love to watch them grow!

Here are a few of my fav's from their session! You can view their full session HERE.

Mandi & Mike {Engagement & Family}

I met up with Mandi, Mike and their four amazing kids this past weekend for a fun session! The weather was great for shooting around Cheney which is their hometown. (as well as mine) Mandi and Mike are planning for a June wedding which will be beautiful! They are truly a modern day Brady Bunch! Mike had to bring his motorcycle for a few fun shots! We sure got some funny looks taking up the middle of Main Street but it was worth it! All the kids were awesome and were posing like pros by the time we were finished!
Congrats you two! I can't wait for your June wedding!!

Here are a few of my fav's from their session! (it's so hard just to pick a few!)
